St. Stephen Street has a very welcoming atmosphere that makes our residents and their visitors feel right at home. Our hallway is smart and modern and leads into our dining room and lounge area, a fresh, homely environment in which to enjoy meals freshly prepared by our cook. The meals themselves are home cooking at its best. Of course, our menu can be adapted to account for our residents’ likes and dislikes, as well as any dietary intolerances. We offer a big meal at lunchtime, with a lighter meal on offer at teatime. We find this suits our residents and leaves them with very little meal preparation to do for themselves. We provide milk, butter, bread and fresh fruit to enable our residents to make breakfast and between-meal snacks for themselves in their apartments.
Our residents often spend time together in the lounge area and our spacious conservatory after meals, chatting or playing dominos and other games – the Abbeyfield lifestyle allows our residents to choose to have company when they want it.
There’s a laundry room, fully equipped with washing machines, tumble dryer and ironing facilities – and we provide all the detergent you need.
Free Wi-fi is available in communal areas.
Outside, our St. Stephen Street home offers a well maintained garden complete with seating areas, perfectly for relaxing in the great outdoors on a sunny day.
Smoking is not permitted within our St. Stephen Street home. However, a designated smoking area is available outside.
