What is Abbeyfield Supported Living?

The Abbeyfield Supported Living provides private accommodation within a family-style house with the benefits of communal living.

The residents are all of retirement age and live in their own private studio room with an ensuite and furnished with their own things. They share lunch and dinner in the communal dining room and the Abbeyfield team deliver everything required for a self-serve breakfast provided directly to residents, with snacks and drinks available throughout the day. We offer a worry-free solution as the daily running of the house, including the shopping and the preparation and serving of meals, is run by the Abbeyfield team.

Why is Abbeyfield Supported Living Different from Sheltered Housing?

Sheltered Housing does not offer the communal activities or meal provision. These features are, however, included in Abbeyfield Supported living.

  • Our communal areas offer plenty of seating for our residents to catch up on TV or socialise with each other.
  • Residents are served delicious freshly prepared food, with meal times at Abbeyfield being a time to enjoy both great food and great company.
  • Our meals can be tailored to your dietary needs with vegetarian options and offering plenty of choice.
