  • Care Assistant 16.25 hours, Skipton

    Location: Woodlands, Skipton
    Hours: 16.25 hours per week
    Salary: £9.50 per hour (aged 18 and over)

    We are looking to recruit a Care Assistant to work an average of 16.25 hours per week at Woodlands in Skipton which is an Extra Care Scheme of 31 apartments with residents aged from 65 to 100 who are either independent or needing various levels of support.

    Our resident’s well-being is paramount and making them feel secure, cared for and valued is at the centre of everything we do.

    This shifts for this role are as follows:

    Week 1 – Tues 7am to 3pm, Wednesday 3pm to 8pm

    Week 2 – Mon 7am to 3pm, Tues 3pm to 8pm, Frid 7am to 3pm

    The salary is £9.50 per hour (for candidates aged 18 or over)

    We are looking for someone with the same values as Abbeyfield The Dales:

    The key objectives are as follows:

    • To participate in the delivery of care to the residents to ensure that their physical, social, intellectual and emotional needs are met and ensuring dignity, choice, independence and respect
    • To ensure that all aspects of the regulatory framework are met
    • Consult with residents and the senior team to assist in developing individual care plans for residents.
    • Work effectively with others to ensure that resident’s needs are met.
    • To promote and encourage independence at all times to enable residents to achieve their own personal goals and objectives.
    • To provide support and security to residents at all times.

    You will be required to administer medication.

    The ideal candidate will be passionate about ensuring our residents are supported to feel secure, cared for and valued and we want you to help us enrich their lives.

  • Senior Night Care Assistant 36hrs, Bingley

    Position: Senior Night Care Assistant, 36 hours
    Location: Fern House, Bingley
    Salary: £11.20 per hour

    We are recruiting for a Senior Night Care Assistant to join our team at Fern House, Bingley.

    The shifts are 3 x 12.5 hour shifts from 7.00pm to 7.30am on a rota basis with a half hour unpaid break.

    The salary is £11.20 per hour

    § To provide effective leadership for care staff through supervision, support and mentoring in all aspects of care.

    § To be responsible for the administration of medication

    An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health & Social Care is required for this role.
