        We are looking for a caring and reliable Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team.

        Hours:

        Monday to Friday 9.00am – 13.00pm

         

        Key Duties:

        • Maintain high standards of cleanliness across residents’ apartments, communal areas, and facilities
        • Supervise, support, and motivate domestic and laundry teams to meet company standards and legal requirements
        • Organise staff rotas, authorise timesheets, overtime, and holidays
        • Deliver staff inductions, training, supervision, and performance support
        • Implement and monitor cleaning schedules, audits, and quality checks
        • Assist with cleaning duties to cover absence when required
        • Manage stock levels and order cleaning supplies and equipment
        • Liaise with management and maintenance regarding vacant properties and repairs
        • Handle service-related complaints and provide reports to the Manager
        • Support other Abbeyfield The Dales sites as required
        • Implement new processes and ways of working to improve service delivery

        Hours:

        • Bank / zero-hours

        • Shifts offered as and when required, including weekdays and weekends

        Key Duties – Kitchen Assistant:

        • Assist with food preparation and serving meals

        • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene in kitchen areas

        • Support with washing up and safe storage of food and equipment

        • Follow health & safety and food safety guidelines at all times

        Key Duties – Domestic Assistant:

        • Clean and maintain communal areas and residents’ rooms

        • Encourage participation in social activities

        Joining our team as a member of Bank staff allows you to be flexible with your working hours, giving you the option to choose how much or how little you work, and when.

        Bank staff have no contracted hours, and will be called upon to cover annual leave, sickness and other busy periods within the business. Bank staff are paid at the same excellent rates of pay as permanent members of staff, and accrue annual leave per hours worked.

        As a Bank member of staff, you have the option to work at any of our Abbeyfield The Dales sites across West and North Yorkshire and into Lancashire, which include:

        • Fern House, Bingley
        • The Beeches, Menston
        • Harriet St & St Stephens St, Burnley
