Built in 1855 by the Crossley Family and renovated more recently in 1984, Sir Francis Crossley Almshouses is a grade 2 listed building situated on Margaret Street, Halifax, a very short walk away from People’s Park. Access to the town centre is easily accessible with transport links yards away, along with shops and a post office close by.
Almshouses are set up to provide affordable accommodation for people in the local area, targeting the over 55’s and the aim is to support the continued independence of our residents.
Our 21 flats combine the freedom of living in your own self-contained, spacious home and include a living/dining space, kitchen, and separate bathroom with either 1-bedroom or 2-bedrooms.
